Following his success with the award-winning Cracked Log Lamp, Tasmanian designer Duncan Meerding has created the Cracked Log Pendant Light also made from salvaged logs that would otherwise have been burnt.
Says Duncan, 'The Cracked Log Pendant Light embraces, rather than avoids, the naturally occurring cracks in refuse logs. By turning them into a vessel for light, we can bring the outside in, and be reminded of our intrinsic connection with nature.'
The Cracked Log Pendant Light is ready to be installed by a licensed electrician and comes with an Edison screw pendant fitting, a black ceiling canopy and two metres of cord. If longer cord is required please specify when ordering.
Note: use with a 15 watt warm white compact energy saving globe and only in dry indoor conditions.
Due to the nature of the material used, the dimensions of each light vary but are approximately 230 mm high and 180 mm wide.
